This private residence was conceived after a hotel was converted into condominiums in 2007. The unique space was a combination of the hotel’s ballroom and a newly formed condo on the 2nd floor. The spaces were combined by extracting a section of the structural floor of the second level and building an architecturally exposed structural steel and white cement mezzanine to tie the levels together. The space included custom millwork and acoustic panels throughout and a hydronic radiant heated main floor.
