Museum of Science and Industry

Science Storms is an award-winning permanent exhibit created by The Museum of Science & Industry. First conceived in 2003 and completed in 2010, it was the result of close collaboration of scientists, artists, designers and contractors. An intense level of coordination was required to provide the structural, mechanical and electrical infrastructure required to support the various components that comprise the exhibit. The vast size of the West court that houses the exhibit and sheer scale of many of the exhibit components created many logistical challenges that had to be overcome during construction.
